On most of my posts the photos are of what I see and then pass along to you. The hope is you'll find them to be little stories in their own way and enjoy them. On many of my days on the stream my wife Jeanette joins me, for she to loves the environment where wild brook trout call home. Most times while I'm fishing she snaps photos of the surrounding woods and waters. Many of the photos she takes have a different perspective than the photos I take and this change in what we both see is very different and very enjoyable.
So here are a few of Jeanette's favorites. She has taken several hundred photos and to select only a half dozen or so is tough to accomplish. In the future I'll try to post some more of her favorites. I hope you enjoy.
she and i would get along just fine. :)
ReplyDeleteA different perspective from another set of eyes is always good!! Very nice! I recognize that area, boy does it need water!!
ReplyDeleteNice shoutout to your wife, Alan. She certainly has my kind of eyes.
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos by Jeanette. I look forward to seeing more of them in the future. I am glad she likes to join you in your brook trout pursuits. Regards, Sam
ReplyDeleteAlan,
ReplyDeletePerhaps Jeanette is the genius behind your very sucessful blogspot? In reality I see superb photography of beautiful places (brookies don't live in ugly places) from both of you! It is great that you give her photographic credit for the awesome shots we see here! Is hers better than yours? I am not gonna go there! You are correct however in that she sees and photographs things differently than you do. This is a good thing....very good indeed!
The big question is....does she fish and is she a better angler than you? You both are fantastic at what you do and we are much the better for it! Please keep up the good works! And, definately keep the photos coming from her perspective and yours too!
Well pleased in the den,
Dougsden
I like them! Tell Janet..good job.. for me Alan
ReplyDeleteWell done Jeannette!
ReplyDeleteShe certainly has an eye for the beauty of the forest. More, please.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what one sees (and doesn't) on a walk through the woods. Each persons eye is drawn to something different and therefore produces a varied perspective.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots...
Great shots! We all see different colors of nature.
