For about a year now I have been trying to use my camera as a video camera. Several small clips have turned out to be "say not to bad". I'd like to share them with you over the next few weeks.
This is a CT stream with a series of beautiful waterfalls.
Soft-hackle fly fishing on a small stream.
Very nice videos Alan! I've been having trouble with mine on youtube getting very grainy in the process of downloading them.

Mark the very first time I put a video on youtube I could not recognize it, like you said it was grainy. The last few times they have come out pretty good.
They say to play them in HD, and that should help with the clarity.
Not bad. Liked the waterfall.

Mark it's a pretty place..tough to fish but beautiful.
Close your eyes. Be it stream side or thru the video the sounds of the falls are to meditate by.

Sam rain is very substantial this year so far. I was out yesterday and the stream I fished showed some significant high water. Hope it continues to rain regularly.
I could listen to the waterfall and find my peace for sure! Mesmerizing.........

Mel water flowing and a easy rain are such comforting sounds.

Howard I was only fooling around when I took many of these and was surprised how well they came out. A lot of them came out lousy.
Another way for you to take us to "Brook Trout Forest" Alan - awesome!

Will your right..never thought of it in that way.
I was in the "Forest" today and what I found.
Nice Alan but your on a slippery slope to being one of those anglers walking around with a go pro strapped to their heads....lol

George my son has one but I have problems using it.
These were with and old fashioned camera.
Alan,
ReplyDeleteI like the addition of video to your arsenal of images that are so beautiful! The quality of the videos is excellent! They just need to be longer and we need to hear your voice in them too! Brookies can be fireballs if they want to be! I can't believe how fast they are once hooked!
As always Alan, excellent....just excellent!

Doug making the clips longer may be in the works, I just don't want them to be boring. Music I have not figured out how to do that..we'll see.
Those brookies are like rockets when they feel the steel.
