Blog Notice
I want to let you know I have not answered your blogs because I may have had a mild stroke. I had an MRI today which should tell. Hard to type, right side is numb. I can read though. Hope to be back soon.
Alan, Sorry to hear about the numbness in the right side. Hope all is well and hope you are able to get out and hang out with some jewels of the stream as soon as possible. Best wishes and get well soon.
Hang in there... I was in the same shape about 15 years ago and it took a little time to get back on the water..... but it can be done! Take good care!
Brk Trt, I'm sorry to hear what might of happened to you. Your missed on the wide word web, as well as stream side. My thoughts are with you, and hope you get well, and spring back soon.
BrkTrt My mother and grandmother were both killed by a stroke. Judging from what you wrote, your stroke (if it is) doesn’t seem to be very serious, and I think you are rather lucky. Now you know your enemy and you know what you should or should not do, to prevent a second stroke (again, if it’s a stroke). I’m sure you will recover soon.
Back in 2008, coming out of a major surgery, I had a small stroke. They couldn't tell if it was from a certain medication or just the stress of the surgery. The point I want to make is that I've made a complete recovery and I'm sure you will too. Get well soon.
Alan ~ Health issues can be so unpredictable sometimes! So sorry to hear, but please know that we miss your comments and writing. Try to enjoy your reading until things get better! Take it easy...
Sorry to hear of your illness. By their nature, all fly fishermen are optimists, and I am certain you'll be back to your Reflections and out on the water soon. Tight lines, Gerry
Get well soon!!
