After so many years of fishing small streams, seeking beautiful wild trout with strange clumps of hair and feathers attached to a thin piece of nylon that's attached to an even thicker line, all reaching a rod a various sizes.
Well it all comes down to a passion, and a lot of friends.
As I walk down a woods road to access a stream, a walk I've done before. All things are familiar, and friendly, yet they different at times.
The stream I have fished many times, it to is familiar and friendly, but at times it can prove that it is difficult.
How pretty flowers in the woods can be.
To be able to fish with an old friend, one who has joined me in countless days of angling. Some say the fly rod is a tool, but not to me. It is a friend.
And the brook trout, one of my very best friends. He seems to always be there. Not asking for much, only respect, as any friend would be offered.
So with some help we friends can stay around for some time.

ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful stream, not like those freestone streams. When those brookies hit your streamer, it's like no other feeling.
Also try the stream where it enters the bay.

I'll start by saying the photos were taken with a point and shoot camera. A Nikon Coolpix. It takes great photos.
