Some Feathers........."Wedding"

This is a streamer I created. It's tied in the Rangeley style. The feather colors used for the wing at first didn't seem to work, but when the streamer was completed those colors blended beautifully.
The name I have chosen for the streamer is "Wedding"

The photo print is available, a 5x7 double matted to 8x10.
The streamer fly is also available.

  6. That's beautiful - I never tie or fish those flies (for salmon, right?). I only have seen photos of this general style of fly oriented as you have pictured them. Does the back side look the same (i.e., are they symmetrical as a bait fish would be)? Thanks,

  7. I'd have to refer to that as a piece of art opposed to a simple fly. Great work right there!

  8. If I was a fish I would be eating that streamer for breakfast, lunch and dinner :) Great photo too. Glad to see that your tying skills are still top notch. Tight Lines.

Yes, they represent a baitfish. Both sides are the same.

  12. Those are some purtty offerings Brk Trt..By the way, I noticed in an earlier post you had a copy of the Carrie Stevens book. I finally picked one up too. Awesome! Now I'm planning an extended Rangeley trip for next spring. But am going to hit the Upper Dam Pool this fall before the season closes.
