This is a post about some of this and that, sort of a garage sale. While I've been out along the streams a bit some of the photos are of past outings and those that I love.
While fishing the other day I could not believe the clarity of the water. It was amazing. Maybe why the fish were so spooky.
Brookies are the same, but are different. This one was taken from a northern Connecticut stream that was a dark tea tannin stained. The brookies colors were beautiful.
Every sunset is beautiful, especially in the fact we are able to see it. But there are those that really stand out. This one is in western Maine in late September.
"Apple Pie", what else can be said.
It's a hard call which picture I like better...the brookie? or the sunset? Glad you posted them both.

In my younger days I panned for gold in Maine and the guide told us to look for sand of that color. A first step to finding gold.
I'll take a sunset and some apple pie, please ! Some wonderful photo's - thanks again for sharing them with us

I figured you would go for the pie. I also enjoy it with ice cream.
Excellent photos. I can't believe how clear that water is. It looks like you could drink right out of the stream :) That brookie is awesome. Tight LIne.s

Nice assortment of "Favorites" right there.
ReplyDeleteThose white tipped fins on that brook trout , wow , they look as if someone just took a paintbrush and made a few strokes. Never get tired of seeing those beautiful brookies....

I agree with the choices, but perhaps not in that order.

It's appreciated.
Every so often it is good to have a "garage sale" so to speak, I know it would not hurt if I did the same thing.

Garage sales are a good thing, they let you buy new stuff later.
Hi BT!
ReplyDeleteMy health is worse again and therefore I haven't kept up with the blogs. Lovely pictures (as always)! Nice to see the lovely colored brook trout. Really a living piece of art. I wouldn't mind trying out the lovely stream or perhaps a bite of the deliciously looking pie.
Have fun whatever you do Brk Trt! Heartfelt greetings from a friend,
