      The water levels have been OK, some rains of the last week have boosted the streams nicely. Get the rain dance going for me in September.

  7. The brookies you show us are first prize but those browns come a close second or even equal winners. Time well spent. As with Anonymous, I wondered if that tree was the same one that you decorate at Christmas.

      Steve the brown trout has been with us since the 1880's, and I consider part of our wild world, naturalized.
      Yes that tree is the one. This year it will be more popcorn and less cranberries.
