The "Blonde Series" and Good News For Brook Trout
If you read this blog on a regular basis you'll see I have a fondness for the State of Maine. I believe they have available to the angler the best wild brook trout fishing in the United States. I have fished there for at least a quarter century and only scratched the surface of the small streams available. Maine has done considerable things to restore, and protect these fragile habitats. In the current issue of S.A.M. news it tells of another contribution the state, as well as other conservation groups have made to protect a pristine area. "Bravo"
I'd like to introduce to you the "Blonde" series of flies. They are in the testing stages, and so far it looks good.
The first one is the wet fly, called the "Wet Blonde"
This one is called the "Classy Blonde". It's a wingless dry fly. It's tied in a classic style.
The third fly is the "Blonde Bomber". Tied in the Bomber style, with yellow wing.
And if your not sensitive to spice, you may want to enjoy this spicy hot omelette.
