"Frenchman's" a place that gave me inspiration the first I heard of it. It is not a fictitious place, but a place I visit many times, and it still provides inspiration. I was there yesterday.
I'm sure there are many who know of "Frenchman's", and those who don't should learn of it.
Its waters clear and cold |

Will he was a stand out. It's a quiet stream, only visitors are the wildlife.
Man that's a lot nicer than Macedonia Brook was on Saturday. They had stocked some rather beat-up looking brown trout for a boyscout trip in the park apparently, and they were dominating in every pool. Yuck. I had to take a trip to the catskills on Sunday to wash the feeling off :)

Adam trout stocking is something that's necessary. It's a wonderful tool in bringing new anglers to the sport. Hopefully they take up fly fishing. Stockie vs wild, no comparison.

Bill they are places where all is equal for that time.
Nice brookie Al. I finally got out on Sunday. I was in a ravine full of brookies in western CT. Lots of fun. Also, I came across a pond that is part of a river system that holds brookies as well. Pretty neat.

John, I'm happy that you were able to fish. Been a tough stretch for you. The brookies showed you a good time.
Happy Birthday.
Thanks buddy.
