A streamer tied in the Rangeley style. I chose the feathers because they appeared to work so well together. When the fly was completed it looked like cotton candy.
For those interested in streamers, I have a few sites for you to check out.

Streamers, especially the Rangeley variety, are very special. Are they not? A combination of therapeutic effect and artistic release which you clearly demonstrate. Keep tying them my man! And I'll be checking out those sites.
ReplyDeleteBrk Trt,

penbayman,
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Rangeley streamers are a truly art form.
DRYFLYGUY,
Thanks.
It's appreciated.
Well done Brk Trt! You should really consider writing a fly tying book with all of the patterns you have created...I would be your first customer. I joined the streamer list a short time ago because of reading your blog. I may have to visit the other site too.
ReplyDeleteA very appropriate name.
ReplyDeleteNicely done.
Very good looking streamer...and named perfectly.
ReplyDeleteCheers.

A book, maybe some day.
I'm glad you joined the list. Good guys and ladies.
Lots of knowledge there.
G Lech,
Thanks.
It does remind you of cotton candy.
Sanders,
Thanks.
The name does fit the streamer.
That was the color for today's trip! I would have tied that on. Maybe two. Thanks for the pattern.
ReplyDeleteI think the trout are going to want to pig out on the Cotton Candy streamer. Excellent looking streamer and feathers. Tight Lines.
ReplyDeleteVery nice wraps, nice to see a rangeley tie. Kudos.
