Last week I made a request to a fellow blogger about a certain item in a recant blog post he made. He responded with a reply and a request of his own.
He requested a couple of streamers for a project he was thinking of doing, and when he told me what the project was, I thought that's great, I'll let him tell of the project...
The blogger is Joel DeJong, and he is a talented artist with a tremendous vision which can be seen in his art. His blog "A Year On The Fly" showcases most of his creations.... check it out.
This is a streamer I created for Joels project.
It's name..... "Joels Request"
Beautiful streamers Alan and thanks for the lead to Joel's blog. I just joined.
ReplyDeleteOff to the Cape shortly..........
I have a whole saddle of exactly the same feathers. Did not quite know what to do with them. Don't have Jungle cock eyes, but one could substitute.(?)

Phillip,

Furnace hackle is great for streamers. Lots of variations. There's no real good substitute for Jungle Cock.
