Connecticut

Raccoon Siesta
Sitting here and trying to gather the energy to go out and fish. A second cup of Nantucket hasn't taken effect 'cause I'm still light headed. Perhaps a cup of Fog Lifter would serve me better. Oh well!

Over the past month I've taken some photos of various places we've been. These are all in Connecticut.

  2. Beautiful pics in the snow. Connecticut is a great scenic place. I head up there next week but unfortunately I only get to see Hartford.

If you head east on 84 for 10 miles you'll see a wonderful Class 1 wild trout stream.

That river is a fishers paradise. Just about everything that swims is in there.

The Northeast has some of the most beautiful places in the US and Connecticut has to be my favorite. Thanks for sharing some awesome images

  7. My buddy just moved there last year. He was surprised at how many streams there were. He didn't know most close in Oct. He's moving again to SC but hopes to fish a few before he actually has to leave. Love the pic of the racoon sleeping.

  8. Kevin Frank,
    Thanks.
Most streams are open until the last day of February. And the Trout Management Streams are open all year. He should take advantage of them before he leaves.
