A Vermont Walk

Here are a few photos I'd like to share with you. A recent trip to the state of Vermont, for a nice hike through the woods and country side. The walk was gentile for the most part with a few tough spots. I hope you'll enjoy.

  1. Alan, nice photos. I think New England has the market on beautiful red barns, that's a dandy. You make me hungry every time you post pictures of food. I assume that's your version of a homemade pizza. Cudos to the chef, looks yummy. Thanks for taking me along on your trip, beautiful.

  6. Lovely countryside and pizza. Thanks for taking us all along and joining you for lunch.
I make what my wife and I call "Potza". I bake in the microwave a thick base of scalloped potatoes in a buttered baking dish. Then top like a pizza with sauce, tomatoes, mushrooms, mild cheddar cheese and anchovies.Bake in the oven like a normal pizza. A little bit of work but very delicious. That's not to say that your pizza would be any less delicious! Food and fishing--it doesn't get better than that!
    Kind Regards,
    Steve.

Steve that sounds delicious. Any thing containing scalloped potatoes has got to be the top.
Food and fishing are a fine friendship.

  7. Beautiful pictures of one of my favorite parts of the country. Looks like they need rain too judging from the flow of that small stream. Regards, Sam

Sam it seems as if the whole northeast could do with several inches of rain, for three different days.
