A time for saying thank you....

Small Stream Reflections started back in 2010 has grown into something I would never have predicted. It's developed into a group of anglers and outdoor people who for the most part love everything about small streams. It's a family of like minded folks. Since SSR's start until today the blog has totaled I million eight hundred thousand page views. You guys are terrific.

So this is the season of giving I'm going to be giving some to you. It's a thank you. All that is needed is a comment and your name will be entered into the drawing. Jeanette will pick out the names on Friday morning at 8AM...The winners will be notified here.

"Hemlocks Run" a streamer tied by me and named for a special place on the Farmington River.

The "Gray Ghost" the famous streamer created by Carrie Stevens. Tied by me true to the recipe .

The group of soft hackle flies that were featured in my past posts on soft hackle feathers.

"Thin Blue Lines"..... a copy for you..

  3. Alan,
I think the success of your site is due to the beauty of the subject and the quality of your presentation. I'm sure non-small streamers find it equally as enjoyable as the dyed in the wool small stream angler. Thank you for the escape to the woods and streams each of your posts provides. Those flies are to beautiful to pass up a chance at. Please throw my name in the hat.

  7. Good morning Alan, yes the simple things. New England small streams and chasing the most beautiful fish on the planet with a fly that has fooled them for hundreds of years. No wonder we're here.

  38. G'Day Alan,
With Small Stream Reflections you have created one of the gems of the internet. It has brought together a community of like minded fly fisherfolk who love some of the small things in life--small streams, the creatures large and small that live there and simple but wholesome food. It has become a family. I look forward to every new post, especially when a beautiful brook trout is featured.
Thank you for the last ten years. May you and Jeanette have great joy and good health in the years to come.
    With Affection,
    Steve.
